Duties and responsibilities as a

Production Planner:

Maintaining accurate records, preparing work orders and production reports, and tracking jobs and subcontractor performance throughout the process Coordinating production schedules to ensure timely delivery of finished goods Ensuring material availability for uninterrupted production operations Liaising with sales, production, shipping, material suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and enhance process efficiency

Cost Tracking and Reporting:

Monitoring project costs and communicating updates to the sales team Skills and experience required as a

Production Planner:

Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts when necessary Good understanding of costing and budgeting principles Able to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding planning scheduling Basic knowledge of production scheduling principles Experience with ERP systems Able to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and GD&T to

ASME Y14.5
