Monday to Friday 6 AM to 2 PM Description The purpose of this jobdescription is to provide a general overview of responsibilitiesassociated with the position; however, the responsibilities listedare not all-inclusive. Support position to plan, organize andcontrol Supply Chain operations (Planning/Scheduling, Procurement,Packaging/Warehousing and Materials Controls) optimizingutilization of HCP’s equipment, materials and manpower to providepremium customer service. This position will include a varyinglevel of project work. Expect to participate in cross-functionalteams within the plant and Client to enhance performance in areassuch as: manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations andcustomer service. Day to

Day Responsibilities :

Use strong systemskills, analytical abilities and business knowledge to examine theeffectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and tocommunicate conclusions. Determine scope of improvement projects;initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary. Developreports and analysis for continuous improvement. New systemimplementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chaindepartment Support packaging and warehouse activities, includingprocess improvements in shipping and receiving, optimizingwarehouse storage solutions, improving packaging efficienciesCreate, modify, improve and support business reports and queriesfor Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other functional groupsDirectly responsible for performing work in a safe manner andmaintaining a safe work environment. Is responsible for his/hersafety, as well as that of others that may be at the facility,whether working or visiting. Is responsible for observing safe workpractices and being proactive for reporting any unsafe conditionsAnalyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximizeefficiency of function and systems Qualifications RequiredEducation (minimum required for consideration): High School DiplomaRequired Skills Proven analytical and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills Solidproblem-solving skills and decision-making skills Ability tomulti-task; effectively prioritize and manage projects, as well asday-to-day responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills withability to interact across all functions (engineering, SupplyChain, etc) and at all levels of the organization Self-motivatedwith positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic Ability to useMicrosoft Office software applications (Excel and Access) Willingto work 6AM-2PM (hours may change based on the needs of thebusiness) Desired Skills (These are skills that would be nice forcandidates to possess) 2-5 years experience in supply chain. Degreein supply chain or APICS certification preferred Experience,training or certification Lean and/or Six Sigma/PerformanceExcellence. Green Belt certification preferred Understanding ofCable Products, Materials and Manufacturing processes. Knowledgeand understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) andEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. SAP experiencepreferred Thrives within both autonomous and team workingatmospheres.
