Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm The purpose of this job description isto provide a general overview of responsibilities associated withthe position; however, the responsibilities listed are notall-inclusive. Support position to plan, organize and controlSupply Chain operations (Planning/Scheduling, Procurement,Packaging/Warehousing and Materials Controls) optimizingutilization of HCP’s equipment, materials and Client to providepremium customer service. This position will include a varyinglevel of project work. Expect to participate in cross-functionalteams within the plant and to enhance performance in areas such as:manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations and customerservice. Day to

Day Responsibilities:

Use strong system skills,analytical abilities and business knowledge to examine theeffectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and tocommunicate conclusions. Determine scope of improvement projects;initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary. Developreports and analysis for continuous improvement. New systemimplementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chaindepartment Support packaging and warehouse activities, includingprocess improvements in shipping and receiving, optimizingwarehouse storage solutions, improving packaging efficienciesCreate, modify, improve and support business reports and queriesfor Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other functional groupsDirectly responsible for performing work in a safe manner andmaintaining a safe work environment. Is responsible for his/hersafety, as well as that of others that may be at the facility,whether working or visiting. Is responsible for observing safe workpractices and being proactive for reporting any unsafe conditionsAnalyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximizeefficiency of function and systems Required Education (minimumrequired for consideration): High School Diploma Required SkillsProven analytical and project management skills Strong written andverbal communication skills Solid problem-solving skills anddecision-making skills Ability to multi-task; effectivelyprioritize and manage projects, as well as day-to-dayresponsibilities Strong interpersonal skills with ability tointeract across all functions (engineering, Supply Chain, etc) andat all levels of the organization Self-motivated with positivecan-do attitude and strong work ethic Ability to use MicrosoftOffice software applications (Excel and Access) Willing to work6AM-2PM (hours may change based on the needs of the business)Desired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for candidatesto possess) 2-5 years experience in supply chain. Degree in supplychain or APICS certification preferred Experience, training orcertification Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence. GreenBelt certification preferred Understanding of Cable Products,Materials and Manufacturing processes. Knowledge and understandingof Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP) systems. SAP experience preferred Thrives withinboth autonomous and team working atmospheres.
