JOB DESCRIPTION

The Catherine Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine is seeking a Communications and Logistics Associate working with our Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN). The Communications and Logistics Associate provides essential support to Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN) in social media management, event coordination, accessibility pliance, and administrative operations. This role is responsible for creating and managing digital content across multiple platforms, ensuring broad outreach and engagement with early childhood and out-of-school-time (ECE & OST) providers in Maine. Additionally, the position plays a key role in maintaining 508 pliance for public-facing materials, facilitating internal and external meetings, and assisting with the planning and execution of statewide initiatives and professional development events. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are key to success in this role.
The Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN) supports early childhood and out-of-school-time professionals in developing the expertise necessary to provide high quality, inclusive, and culturally responsive care to Maine’s children.

MRTQ PDN

consists of a partnership with the Catherine Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine, the University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies, and the Maine Afterschool Network. This is a full-time grant funded position with a starting annual salary up to $52,000 located on our Portland campus. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent bination of education and work experience
Strong puter skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Office, Canva, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and OneDrive
Demonstrated strong munication skills, including use of written and spoken English, grammar, punctuation, and spelling
