Supply Chain Customer Operations Lead 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 1685 Galt Industrial Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132 Supply Chain Customer Operations Lead The Supply Chain Customer Operations Lead will be a key member of a team dedicated to bringing sustainable agricultural products to market through scientific innovation. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. They must also be comfortable taking on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to meet goals and deliverables. A background in customer service, supply chain management, procurement, shipping procedures, and process optimization is essential. As the Supply Chain Customer Operations Lead, you will oversee order-to-cash processes, ensuring accurate order processing, timely fulfillment, and excellent customer service. You will build and lead a customer support function that meets and exceeds service expectations. You will resolve escalated customer issues and work cross-functionally to develop long-term solutions. In this role, you’ll work with the Manufacturing Planning and Fulfillment Manager to set supply chain and manufacturing execution goals, ensuring that inventory targets are met efficiently to fulfill customer demand.

Job Description:

Provide customer facing operational and Order-to-Cash (OTC) functions for customer orders, inquiries, issue resolution, and additional relevant Customer Support events. Create and report sales orders in system (NetSuite). Manage order fulfilment and coordinate outbound shipments of finished products both domestically and internationally. Lead weekly supply execution reviews and handle customer communications regarding ship dates and quantities. Mange OTIF (On Time in Full) metric and provide consistent level of Customer Support and Experience based on Customer, Product, and world area needs. Support customer contract reviews for customer supply chain sections. Manage contract packaging, third party logistics (3PL) providers, and freight forwarders (including export) to support order fulfillment. Manage customer setup and related master data in system (NetSuite). Work with finance to ensure invoices are accurate. Support raw material and packaging purchasing. Create and leverage dashboarding report to provide supplemental reporting/analysis/communication of OTC data for Customer and Sales support against targets and OTC-relevant functions. Able to recommend process and system efficiencies to best support growth and Customer expectations, including Standard Operating Procedure practices and mapping. Collaborate with and drive results through matrix teams (including, but not limited to Sales, Product Management, Finance) to ensure Customer needs are understood and executed appropriately in Customer Experience. Supplemental reporting/analysis/communication of OTC data for Customer and Sales support against targets and OTC-relevant functions. Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or similar degree is preferred 3-5 years of experience in Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Planning role within an organization ERP or Supply Chain Software experience (SAP, NetSuite, etc.) NetSuite strongly preferred. Experience with logistics companies (including 3PLs) and international shipping Experience with Contract Manufacturing Organizations Experience with Order to Cash process development Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools and ability to apply on the job Analytical and strong Excel knowledge Experience with project management processes and tools Superior communication skills are required for frequent interaction with upper management. This includes the ability to communicate at an appropriate level to non-technical/manufacturing/commercial managers. Strategic thinker that can both analyze and summarize to management level. Ability to work autonomously with a heavy workload and meet deadlines. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment. Manage a diverse work environment with independent and limited supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, internal/external suppliers, and fellow team members at all levels.
