The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain, ensuring timely procurement, and facilitating efficient production planning. This position requires a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and proficiency in systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS. The ideal candidate for this position MUST have a strong background in the creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets as well as the implementation of Pivot Tables for the reporting of trends, patterns and comparisons of data. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end order process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from order entry to fulfillment. Collaborate with suppliers to procure necessary materials and components for production. Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to streamline processes and reduce waste. Oversee production planning activities to align with customer demand and inventory levels. Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements as needed. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations. Maintain accurate records in the order management system, ensuring data integrity. Conduct regular reviews of inventory levels and initiate orders as necessary to prevent stockouts. Performs special projects and completes special reports and studies as requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred and/or proven experience in order management or supply chain roles. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable. Proficient in using order management systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Pivot Table functionality. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and suppliers. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
