The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the purchasing and transportation of raw materials into assigned Ergon Pavement Coating Resources locations, either from third parties or internal supply locations. The person in this position will need to be familiar with operations at the designated facilities and work in tandem with local operations to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials and operational continuity

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Three-plus years of experience in procurement or logistics SAP experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Accounting, reconciliations, and inventory management

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support regional operations with inbound supply of raw materials Coordinate transportation of raw materials from distribution to delivery Issue purchase orders for raw materials as needed Evaluate and execute day-to-day decisions regarding raw materials and transportation Monitor inventory positions within the region and maintain any warehouse positions within regional assignment Maintain relationships with field employees, suppliers, and logistics carriers Resolve or escalate: Carrier and supplier payable accounts, Operational issues (internal/external), or Inventory position (over or undersupplied) Follow through on purchase orders from creation to completion Collaborate with accounts payable team to resolve invoicing discrepancies and ensure efficient payment for materials Identify and execute areas of efficiency improvements and drive additional Ergon initiatives Provide limited SAP support to field personnel Why Ergon Inc.?
