  • The Distribution Specialist II ensures the most cost-effective and process-oriented distribution of home appliances to BSH customers.

  • +| •|| |•Ongoing control of open customer orders in the system | || | waiting for shipment or ordered to be returned to BSH | || •|| |•Plan shipments to customers and returns from customers | || •|| |•Ensure proper information flow to the warehouses and | || | transport companies using dedicated information and system | || | tools according to the established BSH distribution process | || •|| |•Shipment assignment, release and ordering transport | || | companies to carry out transports for BSH | || •|| |•Availability monitoring of means of transport and | || | punctuality of truck arrival for loading or picking up | || | products from customers | || •|| |•Deliveries lead-time monitoring and lead-time of returning | || | products to BSH | || •|| |•Make ongoing operational decisions in the event of | || | irregularities in the delivery or returns process in order | || | to meet the meet dates and places agreed with the customers | || •|| |•Control and creates reports on realized deliveries and | || | returns; analysis of the results obtained and proposing | || | optimization actions | || •|| |•Coordinate with BSH warehouses to correctly implement and | || | optimize customer delivery processes and customer returns | || •|| |•Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders in order to | || | properly implement and optimize customer delivery processes | || | and customer returns | || •|| |•Coordinate with other BSH departments, in particular order | || | management department, in order to properly implement and | || | optimize customer delivery processes and customer returns | || •|| |•Coordinate with BSH customers in order to properly implement | || | and optimize customer delivery processes and customer | || | returns | || •|| |•Responsible for achieving the assumed process indicators of | || | the tasks performed | || •|| |•Perform all other duties assigned | || •|•+•Your profile•3-5 Years of Experience (Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, or related environment) Required•A strong understanding of logistics interaction between systems, processes, operations, warehousing, transportation and order management•Ability to lead process implementation and motivate peers and indirect reports using effective inter-personal, communication, problem solving and people management skills.

(This would include distribution center personnel, sales, DC Operations Mangers, 3PL providers, transportation and corporate office personnel.

  • Communicate openly and directly with active listening
  • SAP R/3 experience is highly desired but not required
  • Understanding of Appliance Industry is a plus but not required
  • High degree of independent decision making, resolution skills and strong problem identification skills
  • Working knowledge of warehousing and transportation fundamentals
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Access, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
  • Travel Percentage 10%
