Materials Planner 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Fayetteville, NC 28314 Manufacturing Planner 1st shift (7am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday) $55,000 – $57,000 a year We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner with experience in production scheduling, logistics coordination, and supply chain management to support manufacturing operations and delivery planning. This role ensures the alignment of production output, delivery logistics, and customer needs across internal teams and third-party vendors.
Primary Responsibilities Production Scheduler Duties:
Develop, maintain, and optimize daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, plant capacity, material availability, and workforce planning Adjust production and delivery timelines in response to change requests or disruptions Coordinate with manufacturing supervisors and plant operations managers to ensure schedule feasibility
Logistics & Delivery Coordinator Tasks:
Serve as the main point of contact for all delivery logistics , including third-party haulers and internal shipping teams Manage freight scheduling , delivery timelines, and route planning with consideration for cost, efficiency, and compliance Ensure delivery requirements such as permits, escorts, and prototypes are properly managed
Supply Chain Support:
Input and extract scheduling data using logistics software and ERP/MRP systems Collaborate cross-functionally with materials management , quality assurance , customer service , and accounting Review and process delivery invoicing, return tickets, and billing corrections
Data & Reporting Analyst Functions:
Create and analyze reports on production performance , freight costs , and service levels Monitor delivery resource availability to meet customer deadlines and control operational costs
Administrative & Coordination Tasks:
Process miscellaneous transactions including extra material, employee sales, and package billing Support internal communication across all stakeholders involved in production planning and dispatching Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred 2+ years in a role such as Production Planner , Scheduling Coordinator , Logistics Specialist , or Supply Chain Analyst Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to travel to other facilities when required #
