In this critical role, you’ll collaborate across departments, analyze data to avoid shortages, and proactively solve problems that could impact production and customer delivery timelines.

What You’ll Do:

Develop, manage, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demands, lead times, and capacity constraints. Translate demand forecasts and order requirements into accurate work orders and material plans. Collaborate daily with production, sales, supply chain, and engineering to anticipate and address potential bottlenecks. Prioritize customer orders and handle scheduling changes due to material shortages, rush orders, or vendor issues. Track and escalate issues impacting lead times or critical shipments. Use MRP systems (JDE or AS400 preferred) to maintain accurate material records and inventory transactions. Coordinate material transfers across sites and manage the timely shipment of goods. Lead communication in key supply and planning meetings (Reynosa Supply parts, SIM, DSR). Provide reporting and insights to leadership on material flow, order status, inventory health, and fulfillment KPIs. Continuously seek process improvements, cost savings, and planning efficiencies.

What You Bring:

2+ years of materials planning or production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems—JDE strongly preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data-driven decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills—you’re the hub of cross-functional coordination. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and calm under pressure.

Bonus Points For:

Experience managing interplant materials transfers and vendor-supplied parts. Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
