This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing shipments, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of transportation management processes. Duties Manage relationships with customers and work with our dispatch team to coordinate regarding to customer needs and stay connected with carriers to optimize transportation solutions. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including some data entry for tracking purposes. Assist in dispatching operations to facilitate smooth logistics processes. Produce a constant stream of new leads, freight, for transportation sales initiatives. Negotiate rates with customer and carriers to secure favorable terms for shipping services. Monitor and report on shipment statuses, addressing any issues that arise during transit. Skills Prefer candidate with customer following, will also provide internal leads Proficiency in relevant software applications for logistics and data management. Experience in transportation sales and management is required. Familiarity with 3pl logistics sales practices and transportation operations. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Ability to manage contracts effectively within a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
