Purpose of the Job The Vendor Management Specialist willbe responsible for supporting and maturing Truliant’s VendorProgram and processes. The Specialist will manage vendor issues toremediation, complete quality assurance functions as well asexecute vendor reviews. This will include facilitatingrelationships with the business and vendors, providing robust andchallenging insight. The role facilitates back office support forthe Vendor Management process including identifying issues andsubsequently assisting the business in executing an appropriateaction plan. Responsibilities include assisting in maintaining thesoftware used to manage the Vendor Management process. EssentialFunctions and Responsibilities Maintains code within VendorManagement application(Application Administration) including,creation of new reports, creation of new user fields, establishingnew workflow, maintaining user access levels, and uploading largeamounts of data. Adheres to Vendor Management policies andprocedures and supports Truliant in following these processrequirements. Works directly with key business leaders tofacilitate vendor risk analysis and risk management processes andobtaining evidence of controls. Serves as a liaison with vendors toassist with the onboarding, annual review and vendor terminationprocess. Assists line of business in creation and evaluation ofRequest for Proposals (RFP’s) and administering these RFP’s withinthe Vendor Management system. Collects and analyzes vendor risk duediligence documentation. Performs quality assurance on vendorassessment and remediation activities. Supports preparation andexecution of internal and external audits of the Vendor Managementprocess. Assists line of business in identifying & measuring vendorperformance metrics such as KPI’s & SLA’s. Provides support forcreating and supporting vendor scorecards in order to communicatewith varied audiences. Assists Vendor Relationship Owners withinvoice reconciliation and contract spend tracking. Supports lineof business partners with essential and critical vendors with anybilling or invoicing questions. Compiles and publishes negotiatedsavings reporting. Maintains contract renewal process to allowinternal partners to renegotiate or terminate contracts. Assists inmaintaining all Vendor Management procedures and educationmaterials. Participates and contributes to assigned projects,adhering to the Project Management Methodology of Truliant.

Proactively works with business units to understand how VendorManagement software/system can be leveraged across the organizationto improve both employee and member experience. Utilizes processmapping methodology to create and recommend process improvementsfrom the stakeholder’s point of view, showing whether each step ofthe process helps create a clear value for the stakeholders. Aidsin documenting Vendor Management workflow. Conducts quality controlreviews for Vendor Management deliverables. Other Duties andResponsibilities Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have a high degree ofinnovation with the ability to work with minimal supervision in afast paced environment. Must be self-motivated with high degree ofdrive, initiative, and follow through Must have advanced computerskills and proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook Must haveintermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio Must haveworking technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols,and standards Must be adept at reading, writing, and interpretingtechnical documentation and policy / procedure manuals Must haveexcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenMust have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to assistothers in a team environment with a highly developed sense of tactand diplomacy Must have the ability to define problems and developsolutions, acting collaboratively to solve problems as well asresolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism andservice orientation Must have ability to learn and understand allbusiness processes within the Credit Union Must be detailedoriented, with strong organizational skills, and have ability toeffectively and efficiently manage workload and competingpriorities Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrentlyMust be able to work in a general office environment Should possessa strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant’smembers Physical Requirements Must be able to sit at a desk forlong periods of time and use a computer Occasional standing,walking, bending, and stooping required Must be able to moderatelylift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 10pounds Education and Background Undergraduate degree or equivalentexperience required Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’experience in procurement, vendor management and/or businessanalysis required If you have a passion for member service andwould like to invest in a meaningful career with opportunity forgrowth, we encourage you to apply to Truliant!
