$31.00 – $36.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of supply chain processes to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demands effectively. Material Planner role focuses on efficiently procuring material from suppliers and adapt delivery schedules a/o other agreements to ensure on time deliveries and material availability at point of use, including: Analyzing and acting on late/early deliveries and other warnings/alerts; Verifying and securing correct parameter settings and master data; Responsible for optimal inventory level; Contributing to transport optimization. On Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. Qualifications Min 2 to 5 years relevant experience Strong supplier management and purchasing skills Proficient in manufacturing and materials management Experience with production planning and inventory control Familiarity with ERP systems Knowledge of supply chain management and demand planning Proven analysis skills and supervising experience Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and logistics
