Job Description
Supply Chain Coordinator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1 Quality Way, Fletcher, NC 28732 Position Overview The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations at our RFID manufacturing facility in Fletcher, NC. This role ensures efficient procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to support high-quality RFID tag and inlay production. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing supply chains, inventory control, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers for operational materials and laminates.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Align raw material availability with manufacturing schedules to prevent bottlenecks.; provide coverage to Production Planner when absent
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement and logistics costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure timely delivery of RFID products to customers, managing transportation and warehousing.

- Address supply chain disruptions, such as delayed shipments or inventory discrepancies utilizing tools to identify root causes and either implement necessary remediation to eliminate future occurrences or establish and communicate a robust contingency plan to minimize impacts in daily operations
- Bring a balance of creativity, drive, ownership, and accountability for all Fletcher and global supply chain topics
Daily Tasks Leadership:
Insure department personnel are complying to Health and Safety policies; validate adherence to internal policies involving Receiving, FIFO stocking at production lines and coordinate stock returns from manufacturing without accurate quantity and new label
Inventory Management:
Monitor RFID tag and inlay stock levels, ensuring optimal supply for production.
Cycle Counting:
Coordinate weekly cycle counts based upon material turnover to verify inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
Warehouse Organization:
Ensure material in locations are reflected accurately in the WMS; ensure locations are labeled with correct bar codes and warehouse appearance is neat and orderly; verify fire extinguishers are accessible and aisleways are clear of obstructions
System Material Integrity:
verify ongoing accuracy for all materials within Fletcher ERP system with respect to BOM’s, MM data, etc; raise issue with HQ when not accurate for resolution
Stock Replenishment:
Analyze forecast data, work order status, sales order intake and historical data to determine when to reorder RFID chips, antennas, and adhesives to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Supplier Coordination:
Track incoming shipments to confirm delivery schedules and prevent delays.
Logistics Oversight:
Manage transportation and provide weekly expected inbound shipment reports to WHSE personnel to promote communication and resource planning
Production Planning:
Production Planning:
ensure Production Planner is maintaining Planning File as well as managing work order sequencing to ensure no downtime and increased efficiencies in Manufacturing; manage planning and rework inventory levels
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with engineering, deployment, global supply chain and sales teams to align supply chain processes with business goals; coordinate purchases with HQ Procurement to achieve economies of scale; maintain a standing as highly responsive to HQ departments (Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Deployment, and Management)
Industry Knowledge:
Become the site SME with respect to global trade regulations, tariffs & sustainability practices Qualifications
- 3+ years in supply chain role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge in procurement strategies, and logistics.
- Expertise in ERP systems, inventory management software, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Preferred Skills
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Engineering.
- Experience within the RFID or electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of FSC certification and responsible sourcing
