BDC/XDT Load Specialist- 3day weekend shift Lowe’s – 3.4 Mooresville, NC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications EDI Supply chain Warehouse management system Mid-level Microsoft Office 3 years Bachelor’s degree PeopleSoft Full Job Description What You Will Do The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the flow of product to XDT operations. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring that the level of service in processing the product is maintained against Lowe’s defined standards, that all shipments are processed accurately and that product is picked up and transported by the third party providers at the facilities within the defined service standards, including next day customer orders. This position will work closely with the designated third parties WMS system. Responsibility Statements Provides allocations to the third party BDC providers allowing them to accurately process customer orders to our XDT network Provide regular updates to business and IT stakeholders on Load Planning status Works with Lowe’s distribution facilities, to achieve optimum operational efficiencies in loading while preserving positive customer experience Capture issues as the occur and communicate to appropriate team(s) for resolution Support and provide information on an ad-hoc basis to the IT teams on business requirement updates Serves the customer by working together with Distribution, Inventory Fulfillment, 3PL Providers, & Inventory Accounting, to give them a seamless Supply Chain Experience Develops and maintains a high level of expertise with the third party WMS, along with other system tools Monitor, as needed, that correct information is transferred between facilities Utilizes tracking and exception reporting to ensure shipments are executed according to plan and takes action if delays are noted Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required What you Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Supply Chain, or related field or 3 years’ experience in transportation or related logistics field in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree Microsoft Suite familiarity Excellent oral, written, analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills Preferred Qualifications 1-year experience in transportation field in operations or support 1-year experience with Transportation Optimization software (JDA) 1-year experience Familiar with a wide range of programs, including, but not limited to: JDA TMS, EDI, PeopleSoft and internet navigation Lowe’s is an equal opportunity employer and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
