This individual would be required to work a split shift schedule from approximately 12:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We have 15 drivers on day shift starting at 6 am and 5 night drivers that work from 6pm till morning. The Logistics Coordinator will meet with drivers to ensure they are wearing the proper PPE, following safety procedures and completing Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections. They will also meet one on one with drivers to provide support, answer questions or address issues that have arisen. Additionally, this individual will coordinate with Dispatch and Manager to ensure we have enough driver coverage for both shifts. Review daily logs and highlight areas where efficiencies can be improved.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure drivers adhere to all safety regulations, including DOT regulations, and maintain proper documentation like logbooks Address issues such as performance issues, near misses, accidents, delays, or breakdowns that may arise during the transportation process Maintain effective communication with drivers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth operations Track driver performance and productivity, monitor route efficiency, and identify areas for improvement Review new hire training documents with new drivers Provide any training that is needed to improve a drivers performance Communicate regularly with the dispatcher at the customer site and any other personnel that is needed Maintain constant communication with direct supervisor Have experience with driving and hauling 53′ dry vans in case of hot run or additional support is needed to support the customers needs Will need to interact with Human Resources Director, Operations Director as well as

Fleet Manager Qualifications:

1. Must have a CDL A license and a DOT medical card (experience driving a Tractor Trailer/ 53′ dry van) 2. 2-3 years experience working with drivers in a coordinator type capacity 3. Experience working in Excel and Word, able to communicate effectively via email 4. Strong attention to detail 5.
