Logistics and Shipping Coordinator Elite Resources Premier Staffing 11200 Nations Ford Road, Pineville, NC 28134 Overview Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage daily outbound shipments and support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for scheduling carrier pickups, preparing shipping documentation, and assisting in loading and unloading trucks. The ideal candidate is organized, computer literate, and comfortable operating a forklift while maintaining strong communication and time-management skills. Duties
- Schedule and coordinate daily pickups with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight providers
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and internal systems as well as other carrier specific documents
- Ensure all shipments are packed, labeled, and loaded accurately and on time
- Operate forklift to move load and unload materials as needed
- Maintain accurate shipping records and carrier tracking information
- Communicate professionally with carriers, customers, and internal departments via email and phone
- Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and reorder when necessary
- Assist with general warehouse tasks and support continuous improvement efforts Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping/logistics or warehouse coordination preferred
- Proficient with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
- Computer literate with experience using email, spreadsheets, scanning documents and shipping software
- Forklift certified or willing to obtain certification (we can provide training)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Team player who is reliable with a positive, proactive attitude
