Job Description

Overview The Logistics Coordinator & non-CDL driver will efficiently stock their truck and safely deliver products to our field tower crews in a timely and professional manner. Candidates for this position will be driving and delivering items for our construction crews in the NC and SC areas. Candidates will also be cross trained in the warehouse for general warehouse duties when not delivering. What Will You Do Operates a pickup truck & trailer according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. Stocks and transports loads safely and in a timely manner obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations, to our crews in the field Ability to maneuver truck & trailer into loading and unloading areas Assists with loading and unloading of materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area. Performs a VIR- vehicle inspection report on a monthly basis. Responsible for general organization of truck and cleanliness of truck both in and out Conscientious regarding the safety of him/herself at times as well as the safety of every other crew member or individual on the job site Performs other related duties as assigned. What You Will Need Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to pass a DOT Physical. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years driving heavy duty pickups and trailers as well as warehouse experience strong desired Experience using fork truck, order picker and hand trucks. Show up for work daily and on time. Experience with a forklift desired but not required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, reliable and has the ability to prioritize. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points. Ability to use GPS. Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 – 5:00p with overtime

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to travel frequently. The occassional overnight may be required. Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and loud noise
