Supply Chain Assistant 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28217 At Catapult, we are recruiting on behalf of one of our members in their search for a Supply Chain Assistant. This is an onsite role in the Charlotte, NC area. The EDAC Group, a leader in innovative interconnect solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The Supply Chain Assistant will support the supply chain Manager in administrating logistics, inventory management, and procurement to ensure seamless operations. This role is ideal for an organized individual with strong communication skills and a passion for contributing to operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Enter Purchase Orders based off predetermined inventory analysis on a weekly basis. Maintain internal systems to reflect accurate confirmation dates as well as in transit material and ETA. Assist with Air vs Sea decisions for products that are ready to ship. Assist in coordinating and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet production and customer demands. Maintain accurate inventory records, including COO, MOQ, and SPQ. Support procurement activities by assisting with the Vendor Logistics Tracker that tracks RFQ, sample request, expedite requests, etc. Maintain In Transit file that keeps a visual of items that are shipping. Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining supply chain documentation. Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or admin role preferred; entry-level candidates with strong skills will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics, is a plus.
