We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics and Global Trade Compliance Specialist with a strong background in agriculture-related logistics. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across global markets, with a focus on import/export regulations, HTS classification, and multimodal transportation. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of international shipping regulations and a proven track record in agricultural logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate international and domestic shipments across truck, rail, intermodal, ocean, and air. Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, including

CFR 19, CFR

15, and CFR 49. Classify products using HTSUS and Schedule B, with a focus on agricultural goods. Prepare and manage all documentation for international shipments, including dangerous goods (DG). Collaborate with internal teams on product classification, SDS, and registration status. Maintain compliance with IATA, DOT, and maritime shipping standards. Track and troubleshoot shipments from origin to destination. Support and enforce company freight policies and customer-specific logistics requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in global logistics, warehousing, and transportation. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Proven experience in agriculture logistics or related industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Level 6+) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics, Oracle, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

CSCP certification (Certified Supply Chain Professional). Experience working with 3PL warehouses and logistics providers. Familiarity with dangerous goods shipping (domestic and international). Working knowledge of IATA regulations and international freight documentation.
