What you will do in this role The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the transportation of Atticus products to its customers in a timely and efficient way. Additionally, this role will drive service level results to ensure Atticus meets and exceeds customer expectations. This role will report to the Logistics Manager. Responsibilities Assist internal and external customers regarding shipment tracking and expediting of shipments Ensures constant communication with freight carriers to resolve pick-up or delivery issues Investigates and resolves transportation-related issues such as delays, discrepancies or damages in coordination with internal/external partners Manages carrier claim process for product damaged in transit Assists in preparing and generating manual shipping documents Coordinates bulk transportation shipments, to include route planning, scheduling, and communication with carrier, manufacturer, and Customer Excellence team, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately Ensures compliance with all DOT transportation regulations Attends and participates in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with carrier partners Collaborates with Import Specialist to plan and execute airfreight pick-up and deliveries to warehouse and/or customers Works with Inventory coordinator to ensures that all material Transfers are executed as planned Coordinates with Inventory Specialist to reconcile differences due to damaged goods or count discrepancies during transportation Maintains accurate warehouse and manufacturer contact database Provides support to Logistics manager on logistics- transportation initiatives Required Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain management, or a related field Minimum two years of work experience in logistics. Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication skills Strong written and verbal skills Ability to work effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams, under critical timelines and while balancing the needs of internal customers Strong initiative, problem solving and attention to detail Ability to work effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams, under critical timelines and while balancing the needs of internal and external customers Strong organization, planning, project management, time management and prioritization skills Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills Why Atticus?
