Job Description

The salary range for this position is from $100,000 to $110,000 per year plus bonus up to 10% of annual salary. (Full-Time, Exempt position) I.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented SEG(Sumitomo Electric Group) & OEM Supplier Control Manager to oversee the strategic supply chain operations and manage relationships with Sumitomo Electric Group Companies including Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suppliers. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of quality materials and components, optimizing supply chain capacity and efficiency, and maintaining strong supplier partnerships to support our manufacturing operations. II.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals including allocation of production order among SEG and OEMs for variety of products both cable and connectivity. Develop internal work flow and standard work procedure for smooth and efficient operation by own team as well as other relevant organization. Monitor and optimize inventory levels, lead times, and logistics costs. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations. OEM Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard OEM suppliers based on quality, cost, development and delivery performance. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with OEM partners. Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and improvements in operation. Define and write customer specification and purchasing specification sheets. Risk Management & Compliance Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and internal reviews. Continuous Improvement Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance supplier performance. Implement KPIs and dashboards to track supply chain and supplier metrics. Required Skills/Abilities:

Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling, connectorization, and network components. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production and logistics data. Good communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change. Strong analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in D365 systems and supply chain software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships. Knowledge and experience of quality assurance and control. V.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Control or related field. 5+ years of experience in OEM supplier control, supply chain management, product management, or quality control. VI. Position in

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the physical and motor skills typical of an office environment, including, but not limited to: prolonged sitting, working on a computer, using telephones, handheld technology and other office equipment, standing, walking and stooping. May be occasionally required to lift objects such as files, boxes of paper, office supplies, and computer / office equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to routinely concentrate, focus and read for general understanding and analytical purposes and ability to communicate effectively. This work requires business trip both local and overseas for multiple days occasionally. VIII.
