PRODUCTION PLANNER

JOB SUMMARY We’re seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our tight-knit team and take ownership of our manufacturing scheduling and workflow optimization processes. In this key position, you’ll bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain master production schedules that align with customer deadlines and contractual obligations
Coordinate with procurement to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components
Work closely with manufacturing leads to optimize workflow and production capacity
Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions
Maintain inventory control and suggest improvements to minimize waste
Ensure compliance with defense industry regulations and quality standards
Generate reports on production metrics and KPIs for management
Qualifications 3+ years of production planning experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, or precision manufacturing
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and MS Office suite
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
