The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the scheduling of production activities within our manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong understanding of assembly processes and the ability to coordinate effectively with various teams to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Coordinate with different departments, including assembly, fabrication, and warehouse teams, to align schedules with production demands. Monitor inventory levels and ensure that necessary materials are available for scheduled tasks. Utilize mechanical knowledge to understand production processes and assist in troubleshooting any scheduling conflicts. Maintain accurate records of schedules, changes, and updates for reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedule changes or adjustments. Assist in the training of new employees on scheduling protocols and procedures. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand assembly line processes and equipment functionality. Experience working in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to assemble and fabricate components as needed to support production goals. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple schedules effectively.
