Job Description
Description Objectives and Key Outcomes:
Tactical Purchasing and ERP Management
- Process and maintain a high volume of purchase orders within the ERP system
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers for tactical purchases
- Manage PO deliveries, backorders, and receipts in accordance with supply chain goals
- Order production and MRO materials based on requisitions and usage data Supplier and Inventory Management
- Maintain supplier relationships and support service and quality tracking
- Handle non-conforming material disposition
- Maintain inventory levels and reorder points aligned with company goals
- Assist with tactical RFQs and pricing evaluations in coordination with the supply chain team Support and Compliance Activities
- Assist Accounts Payable with purchase order and payment issues
- Support ISO documentation and compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain procurement records aligned with ISO and audit requirements
- Provide reporting to support operational efficiency and supply chain KPIs Team Collaboration and Cross-Training
- Cross-train with Inventory Control and provide backup as needed
- Support Supply Chain projects to improve safety, quality, service, and efficiency
- Assist in onboarding and training Purchasing Assistants
- Perform other duties consistent with tactical purchasing needs Competencies +

- BS or BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2+ years of purchasing experience using an ERP system
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments Preferred Qualifications
- CPM or APICS certification
- 1+ years of experience in construction or related operations environment Working Conditions
- This position is based in an office environment with regular site and vendor visit requirements
