Affiliate Customer Service Planner - Contract
Hybrid Remote On Site 3 days/ week in NYC

Company Overview:
A leading organization in the beauty and cosmetics industry is seeking a Freelance Planner, Affiliate Customer Service. This temporary position is to cover a maternity leave, with no specified end date, and requires immediate availability. Position Overview
As the Planner, Affiliate Customer Service, you will be the main point of contact for international affiliates and distributors for respective brands and regions. You will support affiliates with order processing, shipments, inventory management, and urgent sales activities. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments such as Supply Planning, Operations, Logistics, Master Data, and Transportation to ensure seamless order fulfillment and shipment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison for international affiliates regarding orders, shipments, stock levels, product freshness, and sales activity needs.
Validate and process monthly orders from international affiliates.
Manage and control allocations for product launches, POSM (Point of Sale Materials), and limited-edition items.
Analyze allocation discrepancies and coordinate with Demand Planning and affiliates to resolve issues.
Collaborate with the supply planning team to address affiliate needs, plan allocations, and manage stock constraints.
Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports for management and affiliates.
Analyze sales data and shipment fulfillment reports to identify trends or issues.
Liaise with the Transportation team to prioritize shipping plans and ensure timely delivery.
Partner with the Distribution Center to investigate shipment discrepancies related to international orders.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree required).
2 years’ experience in an operational role, sales administration, or a related function.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and operations preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
