Freelance Planner/Inventory Beauty

Job Description We are looking for a Planner at a top beauty brand based in NYC. Working on supply planning, inventory, sales, operations for their international division. We work with INTL affiliates and international distributers (communication via email/conference calls/Teams) to process orders and ship products, and we partner with other departments in the US (Supply, Forecast, Operations, Logistics, Master Data, Transportations).

Responsibilities:
Main point of contacts for affiliates for respective brands/region.
Support international affiliates as it relates to orders, shipments, freshness, stock, and urgent needs for sales activities.
Validate and process monthly orders for Shiseido international affiliates.
Manage and control allocations for launches, POSM and limited-edition items
Analyze allocations discrepancies and work with Demand Planning and Affiliates to resolve.
Collaborate with supply planning team on Affiliates needs, allocations planning and stock constraints.
Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to management and Shiseido Affiliates.
Analyze sales and shipment fulfillment reports
Partner with Transportation team to prioritize shipping plans and ensure on-time shipment.
Partner with Distribution Center to investigate shipment discrepancy claims for international shipments.
Required Qualifications:
4-year college degree
2+ years’ plus experience in operational role, sales admin, or related function
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A must is advanced Excel Skills (pivot, Vlookup)
Knowledge of supply chain and operations
Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Comfort with shifting priorities and rapid changes.
Proficiency in SAP is a plus
