Planning/Logistics, Procurement, Supplier Development, and Analysis Position Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Supply Chain Leader to drive procurement, production planning, supplier development, and inventory control. This individual will be responsible for implementing best-in-class supply chain strategies to optimize working capital, reduce cost, and improve operational efficiency across the site. This role requires strong leadership , global supply chain expertise , and a deep understanding of manufacturing environments—preferably with exposure to electronics and/or aerospace assembly operations . The successful candidate will be a change agent capable of mentoring teams, leading continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring material availability to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all procurement, production planning, and materials management functions to support division sales and customer delivery objectives. Manage global supply base, including broker oversight, supplier reduction, price negotiations, and supplier development initiatives. Ensure accurate materials planning through MRP, demand forecasting, and lean-based planning systems (e.g., Kanban, pull systems). Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools and Kaizen methodologies to reduce lead time and inventory waste. Control inventory levels, obsolescence, purchase price variance, and inflation while improving working capital and material flow. Maintain full compliance with ISO/AS9100 and government procurement regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement automation, standardized processes, and data accuracy protocols across the supply chain. Act as a strategic interface between the site and divisional SCM to align supply chain operations with broader business goals. Facilitate professional development, team leadership, and performance management within the supply chain function. Oversee departmental budget, cost-reduction programs, and compliance with audit requirements. Champion data-driven decision-making and high-performance culture within procurement and logistics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required; advanced certifications (APICS, CPM) preferred. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in global supply chain operations , including import/export compliance, supplier management, and MRP/ERP systems. Strong knowledge of lean principles , inventory optimization , and supply planning tools. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, mentor staff, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-mix/low-volume setting. Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments assembling electromechanical or electronic systems ; aerospace experience a strong plus. Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is essential.
