The Demand Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, raw and packaging materials and ensuring timely deliveries of finished goods and equipment to the depots meet customer demand. This role works closely with operations, distribution, customer service, marketing, and inventory management teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce lead times, increase order fill rates and minimize inventory costs. •

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecast demand, and available capacity. Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle to ensure continuous operations. Ensure timely ordering and delivery of raw materials and components. Adjust schedules and plans as needed due to delays, material shortages, or changes in customer demand. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, material transactions, and production progress. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inbound and outbound materials. Generate reports and KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory turnover). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning and scheduling processes. Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning activities and maintain accurate data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory management principles is a plus. Mini Melts
