For more information, please visit www.resilience.comPosition Summary & Responsibilities The Senior Planner II,Production Scheduler will deliver a finite production schedule andensure all commitments for Production Plan of Record are achieved.
Develop and build processes to manage and plan all productionrelated activities including planned maintenance and calibrationactivities to ensure all project milestones and Quality andCompliance requirements are met. Respond to changes in Plan ofrecord and High-Level Schedules to identify constraints andidentify and propose mitigations. Conduct regular ‘handshake’meeting with Production Planner to discuss priorities and tomonitor / control schedule break-ins. Meet daily with Operations toensure adherence to schedule timelines. Anticipate and communicatepotential risks to the production plan. Updates the Standard WorkPlan to reflect any changes to timelines. Liaise with Maintenance &Calibration teams to ensure all monthly calibrations, PMs and ECO’sare scheduled. Liaise with other departments to ensure allOperation activities are visible to ensure adequate support. Liaisewith Supply Chain and Planning to ensure all materials are readyand available 7 days prior to start of a campaign/MBR execution.
Also, ensures availability of cleaning materials and gowning.
Create, schedule, and adjust downtime holds to maintain accuratesystem capacity reflecting detailed resource and laboravailability. Use finite production scheduling and process modelsto create “what if” scenarios to enable ramp up of productioncadence, optimize product changeover and plan for lead in andrecovery from delays/warm downs/shutdowns. Revise and author SOPs.
Support QMS records for MFG. Develop and provide training to theERP system for MFG. Interface with Supply Chain OperationsScheduler to create efficiencies. Maintain and report out onManufacturing Schedule Attainment, Batch Completions and POR Planvs Actual. Maintain and report out metrics per project/client onBatch Record review timeline. Maintain and report out metrics perproject/client on production order timely closure. Use systemreports to ensure all raw materials and components are availablefor production for assigned brands as well as supporting thebudgeting process. Identify potential bottlenecks and provideoptions around eliminating such bottlenecks. Manage a structuredbusiness process to ensure all non-standard work is scheduled in acontrolled manner. Support Scheduling activities associated withNew Product Introductions in conjunction with project teams.
Participate/Lead OE (Operation Excellence) initiatives. Supportshift Continuous improvement projects and method 1’s in relation toERP and material issues. Assist in the preparation ofreports/presentations as required. Ensure return of unusedcomponents/materials to the warehouse and associated transaction inthe ERP system, Provide a single point of contact for ERPincidents, project initiatives and support. Develop and maintainvalue stream Maps Minimum Qualifications Extensive MFG/Planningexperience Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office 365 includingExcel, Word and PowerPoint. An excellent understanding of processmanufacturing/computer systems, and demonstrated ability to lead,influence, and collaborate with others. Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills Relevant pharmaceutical/food/ or CPGmanufacturing experience Related manufacturing material managementexperience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or master’sDegree In-depth user knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAPKnowledge of
VEEVA QMS
system Good Experience using LeanManufacturing principles. Advanced experience with Excel creatingpivot tables and VLOOKUP Proven experience in productionscheduling, planning, project management and/or inventorymanagement experience using ERP system within a manufacturingenvironment Experience in GMP/cGMP environment. Our target base pay hiring range forthis position is $70,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year. Actual base payis dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limitedto, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience,qualifications, skills and knowledge.
