In this crucial role, you’ll be the mastermind behind coordinating freight shipments, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. If you’re someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and optimizing logistics, we want you to be part of our growing team!
What You’ll Do:
Keep shipments on track: Take charge of daily quality control for shipping orders, ensuring everything meets our high standards.
Master logistics:
Combine customer orders into truckloads and route them in a way that maximizes both profitability and timely delivery.
Coordinate with carriers:
Arrange pick-ups, manage shipping manifests, and build strong relationships with freight carriers like UPS and FedEx.
Customer service excellence:
Provide general customer service from order to delivery, recommending carriers and handling export shipments with care.
Handle paperwork:
Complete all necessary shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, and ensure timely updates in our AS/400 system.
Collaborate with partners:
Meet with company reps to discuss pricing, service, and opportunities for optimization.
Stay organized:
Maintain NAFTA certificates of origin for export customers and assist with general office duties like filing and data entry.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to define issues, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
Excellent communication:
Comfort in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Analytical mindset:
Capable of interpreting complex business information, applying algebraic and geometric concepts, and calculating figures like discounts, percentages, and commissions.
Detail-oriented:
Ability to juggle multiple variables and manage various abstract and concrete elements of logistics.

You’ll need to interpret technical instructions and manage a wide variety of tasks.

Education & Experience:
