The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, managing procurement, and enhancing logistics operations. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and supporting our e-commerce initiatives. The Inventory Manager will utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and leverage data visualization tools to analyze inventory trends and make informed decisions. Responsibilities Manage procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials and stock. Oversee logistics operations to optimize inventory flow and minimize costs. Maintain accurate stock levels through regular audits and inventory tracking. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for effective inventory control. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations. Implement materials handling best practices to enhance efficiency in the warehouse. Analyze inventory data using data visualization techniques to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Conduct financial modeling to assess the impact of inventory decisions on overall business performance. Requirements Proven experience in inventory management or a related field. Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, and warehouse management systems. Familiarity with materials handling practices and e-commerce operations is preferred. Proficient in data visualization tools for effective analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong analytical abilities with experience in financial modeling. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
