Planner I Position Available In Monroe, Pennsylvania

Akkodis is seeking a Planner I for a Contract job with a client in Swiftwater, PA(Hybrid) . This role is responsible for coordinating material availability to support production schedules and resolving supply disruptions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Rate Range:

$28/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Planner I job responsibilities include:

Plan, coordinate, and order materials using MRP or re-order point methods in SAP to support production schedules and project needs. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing risks of stockouts, obsolescence, and excess inventory. Collaborate with focus factory teams to identify material requirements, anticipate shortages, and implement solutions to avoid production delays. Process Material Disposition Orders (MDOs) for assigned materials, including handling obsolescent or rejected items and resolving invoicing issues. Support supplier relationship management by sharing forecasts, understanding supplier operations, and helping mitigate risks from single-source dependencies. Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as critical materials management and continuous improvement projects, while analyzing inventory metrics and trends.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical/scientific field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in material planning or supply chain management. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP planning concepts; SAP experience preferred. Pay Details:
