Job Description
Description We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join a team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will focus on managing the packaging and labeling of clinical trial materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and timely delivery. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring up to 75% onsite presence.
Responsibilities:
- Apply for material numbers and maintain master data for packaging clinical trial materials.
- Advise global study teams on the design and development of clinical trial packaging.
- Create and manage packaging plans while considering clinical demand and study requirements.
- Oversee the inventory of packaging components and ensure materials are ordered within delivery timelines.
- Coordinate the creation of packaging orders and ensure timely processing and release with global departments.
- Manage the preparation and processing of kit lists for the unique identification of trial material containers.
- Ensure regulatory-compliant retention and destruction of packaging samples as required.
- Initiate and oversee reworks and relabeling processes, such as those involving updated expiry dates.
- Develop and maintain status reports related to the packaging of clinical trial materials.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate label printing and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements
- Strong knowledge of logistics, packaging, and labeling processes, particularly in clinical trial operations.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with global teams and external service providers.
- Familiarity with the creation and revision of SOPs, templates, and forms related to clinical packaging.
- Proven ability to handle change management and participate in audits or inspections.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools.
