You’ll collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering to create and adjust schedules, manage inventory levels, and help meet customer deadlines. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/ FUNCTIONS

Ensure correct customer forecast and order management in accordance with routines and within frames of customer agreements Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays Collaborate with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes Plan production commitments or timetables for business units, specific programs, or jobs, using sales forecasts Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, transportation, personnel schedules, or purchase, maintenance, or repair orders Issue customer order acknowledgement accordance with routines and within frames of customer agreements Set and maintain MRP parameters in accordance with planning policies on parts assigned as planner Issue shop orders for manufacturing Issue delivery instructions for dispatch of goods to customer Interface with customers, Key Account Managers, procurement, and manufacturing Report on assigned KPI’s Participate in company projects and perform other relevant tasks delegated by management Comply with requirements according to procedures in the quality system Follows 5S procedures. Other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED 5 Years’ experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment Proficiently skilled using MS Office Skilled using personal computers and ERP software Advanced effective verbal & written communication skills in English Effective listening Ability to identify and/or anticipate problems Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Skilled in time management Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services Socially perceptive & service oriented Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction High business acumen Strong desire to learn Ability to be flexible, generate multiple original ideas

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Highly skilled in complex problem solving Advanced skills in MS Excel Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, and electronic equipment

WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer with occasional standing and walking throughout the production facility. The position may involve light lifting (up to 15 lbs) and requires regular use of hands for typing and data entry. Visual acuity is necessary for reviewing detailed schedules and documents.
