Job Description

Materials Logistics Specialist Quality Machined Products & Manufacturing 134 Prominence Dr, New Kensington, PA 15068 Life at Quality Machined Products & Manufacturing Join us at Quality Machined Products & Manufacturing , where we are on the lookout for a highly skilled and meticulous Materials Logistics Specialist . You’ll be our key player in receiving raw goods, marking materials accurately, operating forklifts for truck loading/unloading, and ensuring swift distribution to machines.

Your Daily Adventure:

Swiftly receiving, locating, and transferring materials while maintaining efficiency. Opening containers with hand tools, meticulously counting/weighing materials, and updating records. Handling damaged materials and shortages professionally. Loading/unloading with finesse using equipment like forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. Partnering with machine operators to manage heavy loads. Contributing to a safe, organized work environment. Driving ongoing quality improvements. Administratively capable, ensuring packing list accuracy and well-stocked supplies. Additionally, you’ll assume tasks such as labor assignments, facility upkeep, and other duties directed by management.

Your Toolkit Includes:

1-2 years relevant experience preferred. Familiarity with shipping standards and handling. A current (or pending) forklift license is essential. Adaptability and minimal supervision capability. Strong communication and problem-solving aptitude. The capability to handle diverse priorities with organized finesse. Keen attention to detail and the energy to work to deadlines. Stellar interpersonal skills and comprehension abilities.

Physical and Environment Expectations:

Frequent standing, walking, and sitting tasks. Handling tools dexterously and physical maneuvering. Exposure to varied environmental conditions and noise levels. The necessity to lift/move substantial weights efficiently. Precision vision capabilities crucial. Utilization of specialized equipment, notably forklifts.
