Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Transportation Specialist to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients reach their appointments and destinations comfortably and on time. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, which may include weekend or evening work. If hired, you will have the opportunity to select a schedule that aligns with your personal and professional commitments.
Responsibilities:
Provide safe and reliable transportation to clients according to scheduled appointments and assignments. Assist clients with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients. Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, and report any delays or deviations promptly. Operate personal vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle. Provide proof of valid vehicle registration and insurance. Communicate effectively with supervisors, and clients. Report trip completions and any incidents or concerns promptly and accurately. Maintain accurate records of mileage, client interactions, and other relevant information. Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally. Report any client complaints or incidents to the supervisor immediately. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and traffic regulations. Comply with any applicable DOT regulations and state compliance requirements. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required. Be able to adapt to schedule changes. Be able to adapt to changes in client needs.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Proof of valid vehicle registration and insurance. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roadways. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Ability to use technology for communication and navigation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges, as needed. Ability to lift and carry light objects.
Working Conditions:
Work will primarily involve driving and interacting with clients in various locations. May encounter varying weather conditions.
Compensation:
Pay is based on a rate scale equivalent to $30 per hour, depending on the contract and hours worked. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the current federal rate.
