The Material Coordinator position is for the Moored Training Ship Support Yard (MTSSY) site office located at Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) and Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC), Charleston, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping, receiving, issuing, stocking and posting material, forklift and stake bed operation, maintenance and upkeep of warehouses/storerooms, and performing inventories and inspections.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-5 years of material shipping, receiving, and issuing. Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Familiarization with hazardous material handling. Basic computer skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Armed Forces Supply instructions and procedures. Experience with Hazardous Material and Storage Experience managing Hazardous Material Shelf Life Experience with
EESOH-MIS
(Enterprise Environmental Safety & Occupational Health Management System) Experience with Material Handling Equipment (i.e. forklifts, walkie stackers etc.)
