Job Description
Johnson Service Group, a professional recruiting firm is currently seeking a Production Planner for our manufacturing client in the North Charleston, SC area.
Responsibilities:
Plan process for jobs through the manufacturing/distribution facilities from order receipt to delivery
Works with internal customers to track job specific purchased items, coordinate flow of information to all involved parties and ensure appropriate communication
Maintain computerized schedule to ensure access to each project is available at all times
Utilize system to project requirements planning; analyze stock, units on order, future requirements, and other production related data; make recommendations for project requirements
Coordinate with production, engineering, project managers and/or other departments to ensure goals are met
Ensure schedules are met and maintained daily Record and maintain production-related data into computerized databases/logs
Produce reports on progress of work, performance, job cost models, production schedules, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree in supply chain management or business-related field preferred
3+ years of planning and scheduling experience
Experience with ERP Dynamics a major plus
Manufacturing industry a major plus
