DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Coordinator

  • Level II to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Inc.

facility in Ladson, SC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Optimize Inventory Levels :

By using statistical analysis and validated planning parameters, you will ensure optimal inventory levels, reducing excess stock and minimizing shortages.

Align Supply and Demand :

You will align the supply plan with the demand plan, driving stability and efficiency in the supply chain.

Enhance Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards :

By reporting any work-related incidents and complying with HSE standards, you will contribute to a safer and healthier workplace.

Ensure Quality Compliance :

Performing quality checks on planning parameters and following standard work procedures will help maintain high-quality standards.

Conduct Supply and Demand Analysis :

Highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months will enable proactive adjustments and better planning.

Improve Planning Parameters :

Running simulations and analyzing the impact of parameter changes will help optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).

Monitor and Adjust Plans :

By monitoring abnormal demand and stock levels, you’ll make necessary adjustments to maintain balance and meet customer needs.

Foster Team Communication and Development :

Effective communication within your team and participation in improvement projects will enhance teamwork and drive continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply PFEP principles to ensure the right part is delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, to the right place, ensuring smooth operations.

Inventory Management and Optimization Skills :

Use analytics and algorithms to determine optimal inventory levels, refine planning parameters, and develop inventory strategies that support the overall company strategy. Education/Experience High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
