Role Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Assistant Warehouse Manager to help oversee daily warehouse operations and the delivery team based in the Charleston area. Functional Distro Co. is a fast growing beverage distribution company in the functional and hemp beverage space. This hands-on role supports the management of the warehouse, prepares outbound deliveries, ensures inventory accuracy, and may occasionally support deliveries or merchandising in the field, as well as occasional travel to satellite warehouses for support.

Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse operations team for our 2nd shift (10am-6pm) . This role is key to supporting our end-of-day operations, preparing outgoing transfers and deliveries, and ensuring accurate inventory counts across multiple locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and has strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare product for end-of-day transfers and next-day deliveries Assist in staging and organizing outgoing product based on delivery and transfer schedules Support inventory management by helping track, count, and reconcile stock across the warehouse Travel occasionally to satellite warehouses (e.g., Myrtle Beach, Savannah) to assist with inventory audits or operational support Assist with local and regional deliveries , including loading/unloading vehicles and completing delivery paperwork Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space Communicate with the logistics team and drivers to ensure smooth handoffs and operations Use inventory and logistics software (training provided) to track product movement and support operations

Requirements:

Warehouse or logistics experience and/or lead/management experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift Comfortable driving company vehicles (cargo vans, box trucks – CDL not required) Valid driver’s license and CLEAN driving record Willingness to travel 1-4 times per month for day trips for inventory support Organized, punctual, and team-oriented
