- A Brief Overview
- The Distribution Technician position is responsible to receive, stock, inventory and deliver supplies from General Stores to Tidelands Health facilities.
- What you will do
- + Receive and stocked supplies and equipment shipped to the Distribution Center + Responsible for routine and STAT supply and equipment requests and distribution to designated areas.
+ Responsible for proper Inventory Control of General Stores. + Accurately record every supply transaction, including verbal (call-ins) or walk-in orders, handwritten or on-line requisitions. + Must be able to utilize, load and unload distribution vehicles appropriately. + Perform basic maintenance checks (air in tires, oil levels, etc). Takes vehicle to shop for maintenance as required and on schedule. + Responsible for obtaining and retaining DOT certification and hospital insurance credibility

- Experience Qualifications
- + Warehouse or Distribution experience Preferred + Satisfactory references from present and/or previous employers + Must have a demonstrated record of being able to perform manual labor, + Demonstrate ability to safely drive 24-foot box truck per CDL guidelines + Must have valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record as outlined by hospital driver policy
