Mission:
Ensure that suppliers have accurate forecast of releases ensuringthat components are delivered, in order to meet productionrequirements
Competencies:
College degree or strong relevantexperience 5 years experience working with domestic andinternational suppliers Experience with transportation/logisticsindustry helpful Strong working knowledge of
SAP JIT/JIS
experienceStrong organizational skills MS Office applications (Excel andpowerpoint) Self-disciplined Good communication skills (Assertive)Main Activities Using data in SAP to prepare forecast Based onforecast, plan orders for components from suppliers Escalatingsuppliers for past due materials or delivery issues. Create qualitynotifications for suppliers past due. Monitor stock levels ofcomponents/material and ensure on-time delivery from suppliersReleasing orders from suppliers for components, replanning whennecessary. Reviewing and updating released and planned orders dailyCommunication and follow-up of orders to suppliers. Expediting whennecessary. Maintaining and controlling inventory balances Reviewobsolescence and off balance stocks. (LH vs RH inventory notmatching) Reviewing supplier deliveries vs invoicing. Review WMSerrors with shop floor teams. Review supplier packaging andpackaging inventory. Forecast and manage engineering change run outand run in.
