Senior Production Planner at Stanadyne in Blythewood, SC
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Production Planner to lead material planning and production scheduling activities, as well as provide valuable feedback on accuracy of demand forecasts, capacity utilization, and the attainment of the master production schedule. The Sr. Production Planner plays an integral role in one of our most critical performance indicators: 100% of deliveries to customers on time and in-full.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads material replenishment planning (MRP) activities for assigned product lines.
Maintains daily/weekly production schedules and assesses schedule attainment. Aligns forecasts with safety stock levels to maintain consistently high OTD.
Implementation of engineering change notices (ECNs).
Assist Procurement team with PPV/cost reduction projects.
Tactical purchasing and PO maintenance duties.
Maintains master data accuracy of ERP system.
Must be able to handle major projects independently. May be required to perform miscellaneous related duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Experience with PC Applications, Microsoft Office 365 applications.
SAP knowledge a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to learn and lead.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Must have demonstrated technical proficiency and/or experience in Automotive industry.
Minimum of 5+ years purchasing and/or production scheduling experience in a make-to-order environment.
