Summary As a Logistics Associate at Elkem Silicones USA Corp., you will be an integral part of our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient logistics processes that support our commitment to quality and customer service. This role is essential in facilitating the timely delivery of our silicone products to meet evolving customer needs. Responsibilities Coordinate dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery of products. Utilize transportation management systems to optimize logistics operations. Manage materials handling processes to maintain inventory accuracy. Oversee order fulfillment processes from receipt to delivery. Implement effective warehouse management practices for efficient storage and retrieval. Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure adequate supply of materials. Monitor transportation activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function. Qualifications Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of dispatching and transportation management systems. Experience in materials handling and warehouse management practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes is highly desirable.
