Tennessee – United States (US) The production planners’ mission is to lead the process of converting planned orders into production orders. Ensures cross-functional consensus is reached on the schedules for optimal performance. Reporting on the production status and issues. Roles and Responsibilities Schedule work cells a month in advance Ensuring that all material and goods required for production go into the right place exactly when they should. Create and print job folders to be picked. Work closely and review schedules with purchasing, engineering, and production supervisors for feasibility and adjust schedules accordingly. Produce reports based on findings and performance of production. Pareto issues Track OTD performance to schedules Post completed jobs in the system. What we expect from you? Skills/Qualifications 2 years prior experience as a production planner preferably in a large global organization. Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning) preferred Excellent knowledge of production flow Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Strong regard for product quality and safety standards Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Good at math and statistics skills Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Word) and ERP systems (Southware preferred) High level of initiative, commitment, and perseverance.
