Demand Planning Associate 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Nashville, TN 37201 Job Purpose The Demand Planning Associate is a role relating with creating, monitoring, adjusting and managing Hankook Tire’s overall forecast process. This includes analyzing market intelligence, historical sales demand, segment trends, and customer forecasts. This role is expected to effectively estimate future tire demands based on research and available information with relatively accurate results Key Accountabilities Develop tire demand forecast for all tire segments with varying time horizons Review historical sales, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and continuously evaluate & improve forecast results Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customers to better understand demand forecast drivers and changes Utilize a consensus approach of working with sales, marketing and customers to obtain current and accurate data that drive demand forecasts Become an expert user of the current forecasting software and continuously look for enhancements that could improve results and efficiency in the futureProvide input to the supply chain planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing tires, new tires, and tires phasing out Track inventory levels across all warehouses by article number and develop reporting Manage all the product master duties in SAP In addition, perform the tasks that the manager eventually asks to do.
