We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Associate to join our team and play a key role in both operations and sales.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Associate at Power Freight will play a dual role—overseeing freight coordination while actively participating in sales and business development efforts. The ideal candidate has prior logistics experience, a background in sales, and strong existing relationships with shippers, carriers, manufacturers, and supply chain partners. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their book of business, and is hungry to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full freight lifecycle from quote to delivery Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with carriers, shippers, and manufacturers Prospect and secure new business opportunities through outbound sales and networking Negotiate competitive rates and ensure profitability on each shipment Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or service issues Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency Stay informed on market conditions and freight trends Maintain accurate records within our TMS and CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation coordination Proven success in sales or business development within the logistics space Existing network of shippers, carriers, and/or manufacturers strongly preferred Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently Familiarity with TMS and CRM tools A team player with a strong work ethic and desire to win
