Logistics Specialist Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Logistics Specialist Join our inbound transportation team as a Logistics Specialist, where you will play a key role in managing scheduled pickups, rerouting hauls, resolving transportation challenges, and conducting data analysis. You will collaborate with multiple vendors to ensure the efficient movement of freight using 18-wheelers. This position requires both strong interpersonal skills and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage scheduled pickups while adjusting hauls as needed
• Resolve transportation issues and analyze shipment data to identify solutions
• Conduct meetings to review operational plans and recap previous activities
• Track vendor activity using Excel and communicate effectively to address concerns
• Work with approximately fifty vendors to ensure timely shipments
• Investigate and resolve shipment delays or disruptions

Essential Skills:

• 4+ years professional work experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
• Experience in transportation, business analytics, or business intelligence

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of industry experience
• Ability to work across multiple screens and solve complex challenges
• Demonstrate customer-focus, proactive mindset, and results-oriented approach
• Prior experience in a start-up environment and history of career advancement

Work Environment:

• Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM
• 5:00 PM
