Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of internal platforms used to monitor drivers’ compliance with FMCSR requirements and communicate regulatory needs to both operations teams and drivers. Relevant platforms include Tenstreet, AS400, Supervision, FMCSA Clearinghouse, eScreen, and Workday. Monitor driver and operational procedures to ensure adherence to FMCSR regulations. Collaborate with drivers and operations to address compliance issues, providing education and resources to correct violations. Review and process various documents from drivers, clinics, and hospitals, ensuring proper electronic filing. Work cross-functionally within the department to support and achieve overall safety goals and initiatives. Compile, audit, and maintain Driver Qualification Files to ensure compliance. Gain proficiency in Workday to facilitate the reinstatement and rehire of former drivers, ensuring all necessary documentation is uploaded prior to their return. Utilize platforms to schedule and track DOT random drug and alcohol testing, DOT physicals, and reasonable suspicion drug screens. Leverage platforms to monitor drivers’ MVR, CDL status, and medical qualifications.
Qualifications:
Ability to quickly learn new platforms and simultaneously manage multiple systems to complete daily tasks efficiently. Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Capability to focus on tasks while managing distractions effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented. Dependable, punctual, and reliable, with reliable transportation. Availability to work 5-10 hours of overtime per week, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
